You feel as if you are out of the city, although it is part of Hangzhou. I highly recommend this relaxing and warm setting. The owners are lovely, the village boasts two excellent restaurants, Italian and Japanese, and good Chinese food. Get a room with a balcony. Located in a small village, it was. 5 minute bus drive back to the lake, so pretty convenient. The room was small, and in need of some repairs. Bathroom also small. The front desk was very helpful, her English was excellent. Walking distance the Lingyin Temple precinct.
