We rented a car so we could get around on our own which I think is essential for a good visit. The rooms are nicer than the pictures. People need to remember they are visiting the most remote populated island in the world. There isn't a Hilton Hotel here and if thats what you need I would think again. When we stayed there, it was raining days, they didn’t well scheduled the tours. Once we went back to the hotel, we requested the guider to the gas station for the money changes. "This place is beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in a second floor room, so we had access to the balcony and its wonderful views over the gardens to the sea. It is quite a walk to town - they said 20 minutes, but I don't think we could make it in less than 30 - but a cab (no Uber here) is about 7000 pesos each way. We had the hotel set up our tours and that worked out very well. Breakfast was very good, especially at the low, low price of Free."
