"The hotel was very nice. The location has no staff on site but they’re still very attentive. My only complaint would be that I received a reminder about quiet hours even though my partner and I were very conscientious of the others staying there. It’s impossible to be silent going up and down stairs in an old house with no elevator. We heard all of the other guests doing the same thing along with other noises so we thought it was strange that someone may have complained about us specifically. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Very walkable town."

"We can’t say enough good things about our stay, and Janet as a host. We arrived late due to flight delays, and Janet was quick to respond to our updates during our travel day. She and her husband were waiting to greet us when we arrived (which I am thankful for, as the property is easy to overlook in the dark of evening). The property itself was just what we needed. Quaint, cozy, an excellent space to rest and prepare for the day ahead. Most of our trip was spent in Salem, and the 10 minute walk to and from the train station was manageable and enjoyable! Rockport is a beautiful town, I only wish we’d had more time to spend in town during our stay.We will definitely be back in the future to spend time in Rockport, and we hope Janet’s cottage is available when we do."

"Amazing property. Beautiful home and was decorated very well. Probably the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. Christine and Michael were very easy to communicate with. "Great place for an extended family trip. We loved Rockport and visited Motif 1 We hiked in Halibut Point State State Park. We went to Gloucester and bought seafood for a dinner in the well equipped kitchen. There we had a somber visit to the Gloucester Fishermen’s Memorial. All in all a great experience."
