« The property was very convenient for our purposes of travel. The house is well kept. The only suggestion I have would be a tv in the bedrooms, other than that it was literally perfect. Mornings drinking coffee looking out over the golf course were lovely. The waterfalls are a hidden gem. Very beautiful property. »

« Staying here was an amazing experience and everything we needed for a quick trip to Ellensboro and Shelby area. Karen was amazing in meeting with and us when we arrived and also showing us around the property/facilities. We were not traveling with horses but would definitely consider returning with horses in the future. Thank you Karen for an amazing experience and very clean and comfortable place to sleep! »

« The property overlooks a beautiful lake where we enjoyed seeing the geese, a crane, and even a turkey visit. The house provided great space for us and our dogs. The kids loved the game room. It is a convenient getaway with Shelby just a few minutes away and Gardner-Webb University being about 25 minutes away. Definitely will come back. »

« We were visiting to visit our daughter while she worked the summer for the Forest City Owls and this home was only 15-20 minutes from the stadium and downtown Forest City. The home itself was cute and clean. There was only one shower in the Primary Bedroom so the 5 of us just had to be respectful of times in the shower but it was super clean. « I am from Gastonia and many of my family members are still living there. When I come visit, I typically couch surf at a sibling’s home, but during the holidays everyone had a full house. I opted to rent a place for me, my husband, two children and two small dogs. This home was PERFECT! Walking distance to cute little boutique shops, bars, restaurants and breweries. This area is quickly up and coming and the home is beautiful. This is now going to be my home away from home when we come visit....
