« I was given a lovely warm welcome after a long journey to get there and felt at home as soon as arriving. The room was perfect, nice and quiet as requested and breakfast the next day was really nice and set me up for the day. Thanks so much i look forward to returning to you soon »

« basic but very comfortable accommodation 10 minutes walk from the nearest pub.The room was a decent size the bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night »

« The lodge looked amazing at first glance and it was even better when we inspected it. It felt welcoming, cosy and warm, was well equipped, and thoroughly clean. Despite being a few metres away from the main road we didn’t feel disturbed by traffic noise. A great detail was that the hosts left us a variety of local produce in the kitchen, and even a little Christmas gift under the tree which was put up for the occassion! My only negative comment would be that the bathroom felt noticeably colder...

« We had a wonderful three days at Upstairs at 33. The room was very comfortable and very clean and we would definitely recommend it. Communication with the property was excellent about arrival and access arrangements. The staff in the lovely cafe downstairs were excellent and we had very good breakfasts there each day. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and we would certainly recommend Ounce for good and service. We certainly hope to return to Upstairs at 33. Andrew & Corrina »

« It was clean and accessible. No street noise or guest noise. Walkable to the train station. Comfortable bed. Very basic breakfast and basic tea & coffee. No local eateries except for poor takeaways. Staff not particularly friendly. »

« We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights. »

« Belle maison et grande chambre, bon petit déjeuner. Dommage qu'il ait fallu se débrouiller tout seuls avec les infos données pour l'arrivée (très claires au demeurant) alors même que les propriétaires étaient sur place et ne sont pas sortis pour nous accueillir. Il nous a fallu faire nous mêmes le lit de notre fils et demander les serviettes de toilette pour lui »

« Bon empldcement , tout près du centre de Chepstow et de la Severn. Un peu déconcertant car on accède au B&B et à sa chambre et à la salle de bain (privative mais séparée) via un code sur clavier digital.Cela s'avère finalement très pratique.On prépare aussi son petit-déjeuner, en fait on se sent comme à la maison, breakfast dans le backyard... Très sympa. »

« Great communication and a room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Well appointed, stylish room with comfy bed, a powerful shower and nice tea, coffee and biscuits. An eye mask and ear plugs were supplied as the only down side is there is noise from the street. The windows are sash and I expect can’t be double glazed. Probably not an issue unless you’re a light sleeper. »
