Please note this property does not have stainless appliances or hard surface counters, hence the lower rates. It is a fun, family friendly home! Hear the Waves, Feel the Breeze... Enjoy this fun coastal townhouse, with two decks, a great view of Gulf and a short walk to the beach! This two-story home offers plenty of space for a small family or group of friends to enjoy some island time. Bring your bikes and beach toys and store them in the large storage room downstairs. We chose a lovely place that welcomed our dog, making it a truly family affair.From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. The views of the Gulf from our balconies were breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for our stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other’s company fully.One of the highlights was the hospitality of our hosts. They were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It’s always nice to feel welcomed, and they certainly made us feel that way.However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. Upon our arrival, we noticed that a couple of towels were dirty, but thankfully, we had brought our own. Additionally, the kitchen chairs hadn’t been cleaned properly, as there were crumbs left from previous guests. While these issues were a bit disappointing, they were not enough to overshadow the overall enjoyment of our stay.In conclusion, despite the minor cleanliness hiccups, we had a fantastic time. The combination of stunning views, a relaxing atmosphere, and attentive hosts made it a perfect getaway for my husband’s milestone birthday. Communication was clear and helpful throughout the stay which was so helpful. The house has cosmetic issues like broken drawers, old king size bed that makes for a rough night of sleep, bathroom drains that don’t work, and kitchen countertop and drawer issues. The neighborhood is quiet, but you are still close enough, about 15 minutes drive, to Galveston. You see the beach from all the balconies, dining room and bedrooms. The house is very spacious, just make sure you are ok with climbing stairs. The walk to the beach is only 1 minute, which makes it helpful if you forgot something or want to take a quick break from the sun. Location is about 15 minutes from all the good stuff. The beach was great, mostly families. Quiet area with none of the drama you get by the Seawall. Bait shop across the street, and a block away a great little store that even sells fresh shrimp. The place was well appointed, has everything you’ll need. Highly recommended. ##### Billy T. It was an easy 2min walk down to the beach. The property was as described and our only issue was that we couldn’t get the TV to work. We did call the property management company and they gave us some suggestions, but we ended up just connecting to my laptop to stream movies. It wasn’t really a big deal since we don’t watch a lot of TV. The kitchen is a bit dated, but they say that in the description so we expected it. We loved that we could walk to the Seven Seas grocery store for coffee and snacks and the local restaurants were pretty good, too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! ##### Kelle F. The only issues were thr plug ins in the bathrooms didn’t work...and we tried the switches. If there is a trick to this it would be nice to know. The shower in the small bathroom was set so it wouldn't run hot. The sound bar for the TV didn't have batteries...but luckily we figured it out and there were batteries in the drawer. A description of how to work it and connect may be helpful to others. The lawn furniture on the deck was dirty so we hauled it downstairs ti hose it off. One of the Adirondack chairs was broken when we got there...that should be discarded. The tub in the main bath wouldn't drain unless the stopper was held up. You have to watch the toaster or your toast will burn...no matter the setting. Just FYI...there are bird building a home under the building. Overall...we had a great time! ##### Kim P. This weekend I message the property manager more than my family in a week. About the storage room with rats and rats poop (I sent pictures).The fridge is all rusty and one side. The wifi very unstable.The tv didn't work until somebody came to work on it and we work on sound after. The main bedroom doesn't have curtains so the mornings were to early for a vacation. The grill was clean so we decided to eat outside but something changed our minds, was the foul smell coming from the concrete floor under the house staircase, some water was coming out and smell terrible. So before we left and checked the binder with the rules and two hours after I received an email with differents clean up instructions. Even though it's on the 3rd row from the beach, you still see the surf in between and underneath the houses in front, and it was a nice scenic view. The kids loved all the places in or outside the house to be on their own. Really easy walk to the beach through the public path straight ahead. We used the included heady duty steel wagon to haul our stuff to the beach. Everything was clean and functional with a seaside vibe. Plenty of room for cooking and family time. You can see the beach between the houses and when you load up your beach gear into the large wagon in the storage closet, you will be on the sand in a few minutes! The beach is just for residents so every time we went, we had a big section of the beach all to ourselves! The outdoor shower even has hot water, so it was easy to keep the sand outside. We love the location, close to a quieter beach, and conveniently close to a beach access: only a two-minute walk to the sand. We love the beachy decor as well as the ocean view and relaxing sound you can enjoy from any of the three decks. The kitchen would benefit from some upgrading, but it does have everything we need to cook nice meals plus a few extras (both Keurig-type and drip coffee makers, blender, potato masher, grater…).
