The Admiral Peary Inn is clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Our room was spacious, quiet, and well appointed. The location in Fyeburg was close to many attractions and points of interest.
Cheryl is a great host. She is knowledgable, helpful, and caring. The breakfasts were exceptional.
We really had a restful and pleasing stay, and we intend to return.
This Inn is in a great location! It's on a quiet street, but close to North Conway, the White Mountains and Bridgton, ME. The building was beautiful and immaculately decorated and very clean. The only reason for 4 starts instead of five stars were that the dynamics with some other guests were difficult. There was a lot of noise in the hallways, including yelling and arguing, until late at night and I feel a stronger staff presence might have mitigated that.
Really enjoyed our stay. Found the home to be very authentic and interesting. Lots of space and the outdoor area was wonderful.
Clean room, with lots of extras in the room from a Roku TV to wine glasses. Nice host as well, who went out of her way in assisting us with our needs. AC worked excellent during that hot spell. A+!
Quaint bed-and-breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Admiral Peary Inn during Columbus Day weekend. The property was charming, and Cherri was welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately, we booked a room with a king bed through Expedia, but were assigned a room with a queen. We also had no hot or even warm water in the shower. Cherri was kind enough to offer complimentary breakfast and access to another room to shower the following morning, which we appreciated.
However, I believe guests should receive the room category they booked and paid for. My recommendation to future guests would be to confirm room type directly with the property before arrival, especially when booking through a third-party website. Although we appreciated the host’s efforts to accommodate us, the room discrepancy was never satisfactorily resolved. Despite these issues, we appreciated the hospitality and hope that the reservation discrepancies can be prevented in the future.
Good price, quiet property. They do state somewhere in their web page that they're no longer a bed and breakfast, it would be better to really put that up front, perhaps take the bed and breakfast sign down from inside the kitchen.
It was nice to have tea and coffee, thank you.
Surprising, but not totally unusual in this day and age to not see a single person from the property, that all contact was done via notes.
This place has a rich history that you feel when staying here. Cheryl left us a hand written note giving us clear instructions for our stay there. The breakfast was good and she was very attentive.
Like everything about it , rooms were spacey comfortable clean and privacy , each room had its own bathroom ,the hostess Cheryl made a great breakfast ,enjoyed the conversation and then Cheryl left us to our own to enjoy the morning

We loved the inn. Our room was clean and cozy. The mattress was just right for both of us. When we had questions, we were able to text with a friendly staff member. It was really neat that a binder full of information about the inn and the community was left for us to peruse.
I had a sudden opportunity to visit family while on a business trip in Maine and found this sweet gem. I was very comfortable and the owner took good care of me. Also, the stars at night are spectacular! I stayed outside for a good while late at night just in awe of the view. Overall, it was a very comfortable and great stay.
This is an amazing spot. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We absolutely loved all the decorations for Halloween. Lots of time and effort put into the decor and up keep of this beautiful Inn. Breakfast was truly superb. Enjoyed visiting with other guests at the Breakfast Table. We have already booked another stay in November. Keith and Gretchen, the owners, were very accommodating and delightful to visit with.
If we're ever in the area again, we would book here. Really well maintained, clean, comfortable inn. Donna was amazing. I'm vegan and didn't have a ton of options on day 1 for breakfast, she took the time to ask what I liked and had some of my favorites out and ready on day 2.
Nice quiet location with beautiful surroundings. Off the beaten path. Excellent full breakfast. The host was very friendly at breakfast with good conversations. Take note that all bedrooms are upstairs, as well as the house access being up a set of stairs..
Great Stay, clean & quiet, convenient to down town & the Fryeburg Fairgrounds. Our room had a mini fridge, & microwave oven. There was complimentary soda, water, coffee & tea, plus snacks. Breakfast was also included & it was delicious! The owners were friendly, and very accommodating.
We arrived late, easy entry, room was nice, just cold. It took a few hours to warm up once we turned the heat on. But the bed was very comfy. Price was perfect. Seen no one when we got there or when we left. No need to really. We would stay again.
We had an amazing stay at the Admiral Peary Inn in July! The inn is full of charm and history, with beautifully decorated rooms that made us feel right at home. The innkeepers were incredibly welcoming, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. The homemade breakfasts were delicious and a perfect start to our days. The peaceful location made it easy to relax. Perfect place to stay if you are seeing a show at Stone Mountain. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return!
Pleasant stay, konstanz room was good sized and charming decorations. Quiet, only saw a few other people around the property. Area was very nice and walkable although i drove. Breakfast was at 830 although i didnt partake. Nice collection of books and games. Enjoyed sitting on the lawn in the evening. Owner offered me a muffin on my way out and it was amazing

Pleasant but....
The Inn is very quaint and pleasant. We had the Panama room and the stairs leading to it are very steep and difficult to maneuver. My wife has mobility issues and they were difficult for her. The room itself was nice enough but the closet had bars only about 3 feet from the floor and was full of old broken furniture. You could not hang a dress without dragging the floor. Bed was comfortable. No breakfast on weekends. That being said, I would stay there again but would not recommend the Panama room.
