Ten minutes' walk to the Duomo. The guesthouse was very clean, with a convenient kitchen--microwave, fridge, stove, drinkable water, etc. Paula was very kind. They know lots about the area and can provide good advice. They even recommended and booked an excellent tour of the surrounding region for us - not pushy at all but I had looked at many other possibilities but the one they recommended was well suited to what we wanted and at a better price than I had researched. We had backpacks and there was enough room for us to unpack and wash our clothes and sort our stuff. We had to share a bathroom but that was not a problem - I think there are en-suite options available. The place is conveniently located to transport and to the main sights - the market is close as are heaps of good restaurants and bars.We got caught in a train strike (after we had checked out) but the hosts allowed us to come back and leave our bags, offered us help such as making calls on our behalf and use of WiFi and even gave us a key. If you have any problems or questions, they are always there to help you. This was the best guesthouse I've tried in my 10 days travel in Italy. If I ever came back to Florence, I'll stay here again. ##### YAYUN Stayed 3 nights in Aug 2017 Verified ### 6/10 Okay #### Chika Aug 14, 2017 Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort Disliked: Staff & service #### 料金に見合ったホテル 安い料金で泊まるのだから、それに見合ったホテルだと思ってください。クーラーが効きにくい、簡素な部屋、共有スペースで話す他の宿泊者の声が部屋に丸聞こえ、共有冷蔵庫が小さい、など、いろいろありました。私はどれも気になりませんでしたが、安ホテルに慣れていない人は嫌でしょう。 そんな安ホテルに慣れている私でも、残念なことが３つありました。1つ目はスタッフの態度です。私たちは朝8時半にホテルに到着しました。8時半に到着するということは予め伝えていました。フロントは9時からＯＰＥＮ。一応ブザーを鳴らしたのですが、やっぱり返事はない。道路沿いの大きなドアの前で家族3人で座り込んで9時を待っていました。すると9時10分前くらいに、自転車が一台ドアの近くに止まりました。降りてきた若い男性がドアに近づいて来ました。私は立ちあがって「hello.」と言いました。男性は無視。男性はカギを開けようとしたので、私たちはスーツケースを動かし、道を開けました。男性はカギを開け、ドアの中へと入って行きました。9時になったので、もう一度ブザーを鳴らすと、ドアのカギが開けられました。スーツケースを持って4階に上がるとホテルに到着。私たちを迎えたのは先程の男性でした。階下で会った時、明らかに私たちがゲストだとわかっていたでしょう。到着時間も伝えてあったし、スーツケースを持っているし、外国人だし、どこからどう見てもＧｈｉｒｏのゲストです。なのに男性はhelloも言い返さず、完全無視でした。目の前の男性は、今、初めて会ったような顔してフレンドリーに話してくる。違和感を覚えました。2つ目は、翌朝に「掃除はいいからタオルだけ交換してほしい。」とスタッフに伝えると、私が持っているタオルを床に置けと言われました。私が床に置くと、そのスタッフはタオルを足で広げながら枚数を数え、「全部なんだね。」と言いました。全部換えてと言ったのが気に入らなかったのか、少し無愛想でした。3つ目は、台所にありの大群がいたことです。木製のへらにびっしり付いていました。うーん、使わないからいいんだけど、やっぱりマイナス評価です。 ローマで使ったコンセントのソケットが合わないのでご注意くださいね。スマホやカメラの充電には違う形状のソケットが必要です。私が泊まった部屋は一か所だけ合うコンセントが洗面所にあり、その一か所だけで、スマホ、カメラ、モデムの充電を順番にしました。高い位置にあり、イス等で置く場所を作りました。不便でした。 でもこんな便利の良い所に、この料金で泊まれたことは良かったです。 ##### Chika Stayed 2 nights in Aug 2017 Verified ### 8/10 Good #### Jason Jul 7, 2017 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Hostel in Florence.
