Diablo Lake is a reservoir in the North Cascade mountains of northern Washington state, United States. Created by Diablo Dam, the lake is located between Ross Lake and Gorge Lake on the Skagit River at an elevation of 1,201 feet (366 m) above sea level.
The unique, intense turquoise hue of the lake's water is attributed to the surrounding glaciers that grind rocks into a fine powder that is carried into the lake through creeks. That fine powder stays suspended in the lake, giving the water its brilliant color. #nationalpark #roadtrip

"Terrible power outages. With a company this big you would think they would be more prepared. No AC, no TV, no power at times in and out entire trip. I know it’s not their faults bc it’s due to the weather but they need to be more prepared. Wish I could be refunded at least a portion of our stay. "

"Loves this property for our family of 6 with 4 teenagers. Excellent access to the beach and restaurants on property. Could use a few more towel hooks for hanging towels in the family suites though. Wonderfully large size for the family suite though! "

"The room was small, walls are thin and the neighbors tv was insanely loud. There was so much foam in the hot tub -it was not at all clean, and the pool water was cloudy. At check in we were asked if we wanted first or second floor, but they failed to mention there was not any elevators and we had to lug our bags up and down the stairs upon arrival and departure. Lastly, there was a bug in our room and I’m really hoping there wasn’t more that got into our stuff and traveled home with us. This hotel is okay if you don’t have a better option but this place is comparable to an old Motel 6. I would expect much better for the nightly price I paid. "
