"Great location close to 96th street subway which took about 10 minutes to midtown. Plenty of shops for food and supplies, and street vendors close by-along Broadway, Central Park was only a few blocks away. The hotel was clean and relativly tidy maybe a little dated but still worth it and the bronze room, whilst a little small, was more than adequate."

"Location about ) miles from Times Square. Easy to get to by the subway. I would start my bike journey every morning from this neighborhood and explore the many areas of Manhattan many people may not see. Bike ride included a beautiful ride along the Hudson River. Staff was fantastic. The neighborhood was very lively and colorful. Room was very comfortable as a solo traveler. Nice restaurant connected to the hotel. Happy I took a chance on this location this time- normally stay in Times Square but thought I try something completely different."
