Our suggestion would be to install more hooks/towel bars in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a good stay. This was our second time there.

Check in at night was easy. Hotel room was clean and had HVAC. Water pressure was good. Hotel also had a water cooler on the first floor, which had cups and temperature selectable water available to drink. Check out by talking to someone in the morning was difficult due to a low staff count, but the hotel allowed you to check out by just leaving your key in a box. Bus stop right next to the hotel allowed you to take a bus and then the train to get back to Chicago easily.

The room was clean, the staff was helpful, the fitness center was pretty good for a hotel. Outdoor signage when driving up to the hotel for the first time needs to be improved. There are only temporary banners by the road currently, not a percent sign.

Dirty sink and shower with wet towels in the shower. One entrance to the hotel. Other room entry/ exits were not accessible. My reservation was for a king size bed. I was given a room with 1 double bed only. A/C was not adjustable. Terrible! Staff was friendly.

Make sure if you are wanting a Pool or Hot Tub, this Inn does not have one. Some of the advertisements, show that they have one, but don't. Hopefully you don't get a room that ajoins your room, with a noisy couple. Walls seem to be thin and you can hear everything all night long! Rooms where nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than Continental Breakfast with microwaved cheese omelette and sausage. Staff was somewhat helpful, until I complained about No pool and hot tub. It was worth the price...!

The staff was friendly. Our room was ok. Bathtub took 20 mins to drain after a shower. The pool was closed, which was not good!! The reason I booked here was the indoor pool and it was close to the venue we were in town for. Continental breakfast was mediocre.

Jose and staff were very helpful and friendly. The property had some deficits, no access to pool or computer. Parking lot maintenance was long overdue. Sign on front of building needs repair. Lose the derelict vehicles. Though not Hampton's fault, someone should cut down weeds on neighboring property to better see the Hampton sign on approach to property. Overall, though the facility fulfilled our needs. Thank you.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT stay at this hotel.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT stay at this hotel. I normally have great experiences with Hampton Inn which is why I chose this hotel on our drive back home, in fact my son and I stayed at a Hampton Inn in Toledo the night previous and it was fantastic. The pool was closed due to "Maintenance" which was false. They just didn't have staff to take care of towels etc. The main door was never locked at night. There were paint chips on the floor in both the room and the hallway. It smelled like wet dogs everywhere. They also charged $150 for incidentals which I thought was out of the ordinary but they also then charged me the same fee as hotels.com and if you try to call them at the front desk best of luck. So I was charged twice. Days after I would try calling and all I would get is a busy signal so I finally just went straight to my bank and took care of it that way. After reading their reviews through this site and google I wish I had checked before booking but it was late, we were tired and hungry. This hotel is an absolute embarrassment to the Hilton franchise. I should have had better instincts when my son said "Dad we are the only car in the parking lot." I wish I could give less than a one star rating on this. I normally never complain and make the best of a given situation but I can't imagine being there with a young family.

This inn was amazing! Super friendly staff, always being cleaned, breakfast and coffee constantly restocked and cleaned up. When I come back to Illinois this will be the place that we stay for sure.

I was surprised how nice the room was for the at a fair price. However, i did not think that the property maintenance (landscaping) was up acceptable. The shrubs were over grown, the lawn edging was not done at all, and the trees had not been pruned at all. This place is a diamond in the rough if only those items received some tending to. Otherwise, this is where I will come back to on my next stay.
