We were quite disappointed by this stay. The bathtub was quite old and would be one I would have a bath in as it didn’t look clean. Our king bed was also two twins pushed together with a sheet on top (not fitted) so both nights it kept falling off.
The pillows were also very uncomfortable.
The fridge never got colder than 18C.
The common area was quite messy. The first day there were blankets everywhere including the floor, by the time we check out three days later, the couch looked the same with blankets and pillows everywhere, untouched from days before.
The staff was also not friendly, could use some work on their customer service. Won’t be coming back

Desayuno Variado y completo. El hotel lo están remodelando. Por lo que hay un poco de polvo en el sector de la remodelación. Por lo demás estancia estupenda.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalken. The front desk staff were amazing, especially the man with glasses that works at night, he went above and beyond to help me and was very kind. The room had everything I needed for my short stay and I enjoyed the packed lunch box ready for me in the morning for my el chalten day hike! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you again to all the lovely staff I really appreciate it :)
Tuve una vacación maravillosa en el Hotel Kalken. El personal de recepción fue increíble, especialmente el hombre con lentes que trabaja de noche, hizo todo lo posible para ayudarme y fue muy amable. ¡El cuarto tenía todo lo que necesitaba para mi corta reservación y disfruté de la caja de almuerzo empacada lista para mí por la mañana para mi caminata de un día en el chalten! Definitivamente me quedaría aquí de nuevo. Gracias de nuevo a todo los trabajadores, lo agradezco :)

Lo único que no me gustó y que fue en parte responsabilidad nuestra es que no tenían aire acondicionado; la calefacción es central, no hay forma de apagarla y no tienen ningún ventilador para ofrecer.
