« Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. « The perfect space for a family getaway from the city. We very much enjoyed the fireplace, it heated up the whole house! The house is in a great location, very close to the local cafes/restaurants. We loved hearing the Kookaburras in the morning and watching the Rosellas in the trees. »

« Wombats. That's the review. I'm not sure how to make this easier for everyone but there are wonderful wombats around the property. They come right up to the accommodation. They LOVE eating the chestnuts that fall off the surrounding trees in autumn/winter. Best times are early evening after dark until about 9pm and then sporadically until about 4am. « Lyrebird cottages was set in a lovely tranquil location, Silver Wattle cottage was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provisions (eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, butter, jam, milk, juice) were great and the owners provided excellent information prior to/during our stay. We were fortunate enough to see the Autumn leaves, pick chestnuts from the property and see a few lyrebirds as well. I would definitely recommend Lyrebird cottages for a weekend away! »

« Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age.
