I was upgraded to a better room as the one I had booked was not available, very helpful staff @ reception. Facilities were very good and the food was nice, although the later you leave breakfast, the selection was not as good as if you had gone earlier. Although the hotel was lovely, some of the other guests behaviour during the night, was out of order, Lucky if I had 4 hours sleep. Only 25 minutes to central Dublin and beautiful Howth only 5 minutes away.

I love this place on the Irish Sea! What a beautiful hotel. I loved walking down to the beach and spending time on the spacious patio. My room was perfect. Goes to Howth or into Dublin center was so easy by bus or train. I spent the week here with my four grown kids and my granddaughter, and was joined several times by family especially at our dinner of 20 held at the hotel. Thanks for a memorable time!

Hotel undergoing refurbishment so bedrooms of varying quality. we stayed in one of the original rooms on the top floor and the bathroom needed a very good clean . The breakfast was okay and hot plates would have helped lovely views at the rear and hotel well placed for the dart and the bus to the city

Wonderful historic property, well maintained and being updated as we were there. While not being air conditioned was understood, was surprised at how hot the room got - small sea facing window didn’t really allow the room to cool off even though days were only 24 C and nights were down to 15-18 C. Lovely location - both the hotel location and the Sutton/Howth area.

The room was enormous with a comfortable bed and view of the bay. The front desk staff was wonderful. The bathroom could use a little updating but was spacious. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, a bit expensive for what you got and they were understaffed. Overall a great place to stay for location and price.
