"Female only dorm was excellent. I would skip the add-on charge for breakfast as there is a cafe downstairs and a Spar (convenience store) around the corner. Room was quiet. Locker in room was large. Bunks has curtains and room was equip with bathroom and separate shower room. Short walk to Luas and Temple Bar."

"Breakfast was excellent. Ease of transportation to and from airport was very convenient with the courtesy bus that ran every half hour. Very glad we stayed here and away from the city center with it's noisy environment. We choose when to visit the city center by taking the courtesy bus to the airport and hop on the city bus to the city center. Train to other cities and attractions when we wanted. My wife loved the arrangements and we'll do it again."

"Accessibility Guest Highly Recommends: I have mobility issues and use a mobility scooter to get around, and Zanzibar Locke Hotel was the best. I reserved the Twin Accessible Room, and it was very spacious, with a bedroom, living room, and kitchen/dining areas, along with an accessible bathroom. I had no issues getting my scooter in and out of the room or navigating with my walker. The bathroom was fully accessible with bars, a shower seat, and all the accessible features you would need. I can easily see it accommodating a wheelchair or other mobility devices. It was perfect for my needs. Also, the common areas of the hotel were easily accessible. We ate in the dining room twice and had coffee in the coffee shop daily. The scooter wasn't an issue. The staff was great to work with. I purchased an inexpensive walker at "Active Living Pharmacy" two blocks north of the hotel, and the hotel staff arranged to donate it to a local charity since I was not going to bring it home. The location couldn't have been better! I was able to scooter all around central Dublin, from Trinity University to St. Patrick's Cathedral, to the Guinness Storehouse, to the Temple Bar Neighborhood. Speaking of Dublin, the only issue I had was that some of the old stores had steps to get into, but usually there was one next door that didn't. I got into every place I wanted to go. It's a very accessible city. Go and have a Guinness at the Palace Bar."

"Great hotel with a warm atmosphere and very convenient location. Close to tram, buses, and trains. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Only a 10/15 minute walk from the city centre but there’s plenty going on within 5 mins of the hotel too. Recommend the Garrison museum which is almost next door. I am very glad I chose this hotel!"
