"We make an annual trip to Atlanta/Covington. We needed to find a Vrbo that was spacious & had our non-negotiable amenities (comfortable beds & a fire pit). This Vrbo exceeded our expectations. We would've loved to have a TV in the main living area but it didn't affect our stay at all. There's TVs in all bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable. Decor is beautiful especially the TVD themed rooms. We had a lot of fun in the game room. We took full advantage of the fire pit by roasting smores & looking at the stars most nights. Both kitchens are well-stocked with all the necessary equipment. There is also complimentary coffee, toothbrush/toothpaste/comb packages, shampoo and conditioner. Just as an FYI...the stairs to enter the home as well as the stairs on the back deck leading to the lower level are steep so if you have issues with stairs, this may not be the Vrbo for you plus there's plenty of parking on the driveway but no garage parking due to the gameroom. The neighborhood is very quiet & secluded. Check in was fairly easy & checkout was a breeze. The host, Lennette, checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay, answered all our questions, & is very accommodating. There were some cleanliness issues that we addressed on our first day & she was very responsive & assured us it will be addressed with the cleaning crew for future guests. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay & we hope to stay here again on our future annual trips with a large group. Tysm Lennette "

"Unfortunately, our experience at this rental was far more stressful than expected. We were unable to access the home on the first day and had to wait outside in the heat for over an hour, which forced me to find and pay for a last-minute hotel for my recovering father — who had just undergone major surgery.The property had issues with the locks, which made us uncomfortable leaving or locking the doors. My father ended up leaving the doors unlocked during the stay because he was worried he wouldn’t be able to get back in. Secure access should be a basic expectation for any rental.I also had to clean the property myself — including taking out trash from the previous guest, stripping beds, and cleaning the toilets — to make it suitable for my father to stay. I even helped troubleshoot appliances at the host’s request.While the host initially acknowledged the problems and promised compensation, they later attempted to retract that offer, which was disappointing and unprofessional. Given the stress we endured and the effort I made to help maintain the property, I expected better follow-through and accountability.This could be a decent rental under different circumstances, but I would not recommend it to anyone expecting a smooth, reliable, or supportive experience — especially if traveling with elderly or medically vulnerable family members."
