"Friendly staff"

"The rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was really good and fairly priced. We went to the bar as well and the staff was great! The only thing that was missing was bubble bath for the beautiful tub, but I would recommend this place to anyone and wish we would have stayed longer."

"a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended."

"Myself and my mum stayed at Shawlee cottage over the weekend for Radio 2 in the Park. Both Sandy and Cathy were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, always stopping to have a chat when we saw either of them. Very good hosts. We had a lovely stay and it felt very homely and cosy which we both liked, was very clean and had no trouble with anything while we were there. Would definitely stay again if we come to Scotland again :)"
