« The house was very clean. It's located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was well stocked with cooking utensils. It was pet friendly with a secure fenced backyard. The host was responsive and accommodating. We stayed here while we were in town for work and would stay here again. »

« Our group of 8 adults and 10 children had a great time here. The castle is beautiful, spacious and clean. The outdoor space is as much of an attraction as the indoor space with kayaking, fishing a small beach space and a fire pit right in the backyard. Of course the kids loved the indoor pool as well. »

« Bauman’s Deep Woods Escape is a wonderful resort-style home in beautiful surroundings. The five bedrooms were a perfect fit for our two families (4 adults, 8 children ranging from 4-18). The pool, hot tub, volleyball court, horseshoes, fire pit, ping pong table and pool table were big hits all around. Emma is a thoughtful host, easy to communicate with, flexible, friendly, and professional. We are so sad to leave! »

« If you are looking for a secluded stay this is it! It is just as listed, rustic, historic, quaint and quiet. It was a great place for my cousins and I to have a get together. The owner was very attentive and came right away when we had a problem with the fireplace and hot tub. If you are looking for a five star resort this is not for you. If you are looking to relax in the country it will not disappoint. »

« We had an excellent experience with the property, the hosts and the charming town of Ste. Genevieve. Communication with the host was prompt and clear, from the check-in process through the (very easy!) departure. The property was clean and excellently appointed, and I will say most of the rooms are actually a bit larger than they appear on the listing, which was a nice surprise. And as most of the other reviews indicate, it truly is in the heart of town, with everything--coffee, food, drinks,...
