We secured this property in March 2025 for the week of NYE 2026\. Upon booking, the pool was advertised, and confirmed by the owner, to have a heated & enclosed pool during the winter months. Our only issue was the accuracy of the listing & communication regarding the pool. We rented this house solely because of the heated & enclosed pool. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found a winterized, non-functioning & non-enclosed pool. It was unusable, and it was not communicated with us prior to arrival despite my asking multiple times the status & temperature of the pool. It was an unfortunate surprise that tainted the excitement of our arrival. The owner visited us and offered a 100% refund based on the mis-communication & our disappointment. It was a very generous offer & it was appreciated; however, we only accepted a 50% refund because we still stayed for a week & enjoyed what this beautiful home & property had to offer. Despite the rough start our group still enjoyed the week together and would consider renting this property again. The beds, bathrooms, recreational amenities, indoor/outdoor kitchen, & sound system were all on point. The home was very clean & the check-in/-out process was very easy. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We sincerely appreciated her hospitality & generosity when correcting the communication mistake. There are plenty of towels for the pool and hot tub. We spent so much time outside in the back yard swimming, grilling and sitting around the fire in the evenings enjoying smores. We spent 6 days here. People played pool, ping pong, games, swam and we grilled outside. This house has everything you would in your own home! One day I hosted our huge family gathering of 40+people, plenty of room, it was nice outside and inside and once again everything is provided at the house. I would recommend this house to everyone. We planned our First Christmas Staycation at this beautiful property for 8 adults and 8 children (from 1 - 16)! This place is the best ever!!! Upon arrival, I was greeted by Joe whom was very accommodating and personable and showed me around to explain all of the extra special amenities! We certainly enjoyed the Sonos Music System as well as the locally made sausage, garlic cheese and wine! What a nice surprise! We had more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable! We stayed for 3 nights and everything was perfect!! The amenities that are provided by Emma and Joe are absolutely second to none as there was nothing that they didn’t provide!! Thank you for decorating for Christmas as it was extra special for us The entire property, inside and out were well equipped and super clean! We all enjoyed not only the home but the outdoor area with hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, sand play area, horse shoes and of course the glorious covered and heated swimming pool … everything was awesome! There was so much at our “resort” that kept everyone entertained including the pool table and ping pong inside as well as all of the games provided! I would highly recommend this awesome experience to anyone that is looking for PERFECTION for your next get away, this is the place! Hats off to you both Emma and Joe, for providing the perfect Staycation Experience! We were expected to see some wear and tear from the past two years but we didn't notice anything. It was perfect! The photos online don't do this place justice. It was like our own private resort; we didn't leave the entire time other than for a couple of trips to the grocery store. Just a long weekend to reconnect. Usually at lake Ozark but since this trip would be in December we did not want to travel that far. We could not have made a better choice. This cabin is spectacular, spacious, heavenly,clean,felt like home! There is no need to go anywhere while there, so much to do. We had great weather for December so we were outside all day using pool, hot tub,horseshoes,fire pit, bar and barbecue area with TV for the guys, the sand area was utilized by adults for tossing a football and the three year old to run around and play with his toys and the toys provided. Inside at night in the lower level we could all fit comfortably and gather for ping pong and billiards and board games. We can’t wait to return! The house had so many amenities and stocked with all the bells and whistles to help us have such an enjoyable weekend. Emma was readily available for any questions we had and dropped off several items that were needed to enhance our experience. I cannot recommend this property enough! It was perfect! It felt luxurious. There was something for everyone to do all of the time! Between our three families we have 15 kids and there was room for everyone, including a kind bed for each adult couple! Emma was gracious. She met us at the property to explain everything and checked back during our stay. She brought us some extra kindle for the fire and homegrown tomatoes and sweet corn from her garden.
