« Fantastic stay »

« Dusty walls; many, many marks and stains on floor, walls, and woodwork. Parking in front of rooms full of cigarette butts and small trash. Price was cheap but definitely not worth the bargain. Needs extensive deep cleaning and repainting. »

« Pictures were extremely misleading. The area rugs were VERY dirty, the floor was uneven and the grass and weeds were about 8-10 inches high. The view was very nice but NOT worth the money we spent. »

« We absolutely loved our peaceful stay here. This house had so much character and was so cozy for our Chesapeake Bay vacation ! There is a small town close by (7 minute drive) with amazing food options. The beach is a two minute drive from the home. Very relaxing stay , host was very responsive. Linens were fresh and house had EVERYTHING you needed. Very accommodating stay - thank you! »

« As always, the Key Cottage is a treat. While there are many things we like about it, the porches are our favorites. Just unplug and spend some quality time enjoying a trip back to a simpler time. The cottage is always meticulously prepared and the host is warmly welcoming. When we tell folks in local establishments where we are staying we frequently get an understanding look of envy. I cannot recommend it highly enough. »

« This lovely home is situated in such a quaint location - close enough to “town” but feels like you’re in the woods. And the peepers sang us to sleep every night. We don’t get a chance to use the pool, or the bikes, or the BBQ because it’s still early spring but the hot tub was a welcome oasis after a long day outdoors in the chilly fog. »

« The cottage was so beautiful! Warm & inviting, the decor was well put together with love and care. Shelly thought of everything, we needed for nothing. I forgot my shampoo, and she had a wonderful selection of shampoo, conditioner, & body wash for us to choose from, it was the good stuff too, ha! Plenty of towels, blankets, & linens. The bed was literally heaven, it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, ha. The kitchen was fully stocked, there was even ziplock bags etc… a coffee bar with...

« Wonderful water view, go to sleep with the sound of the waves. Great full kitchen and ask host about catering with Chef Brenda! Get a real break from stress and cooking. Great balcony with direct stair access to the water and lots of fun things to do. Best donut shop 15 minutes away in downtown White Stone, Chesapeake donuts is great. Beautiful property and easy parking. »
