It was as expected and I was not disappointed

Enjoyed: Excellent breakfast. Warm and welcoming bar, housekeeping, and desk staff - tip them well! Very accommodating management. The well-appointed gym with working equipment, nice amenities, and ample space. Improvements needed: More sound-proofing between floors and replace annoying smoke detectors. Recommend guests reserve a room on 4th floor to avoid lack of sound proofing between floors. Also, wear an eye-guard to avoid the unpleasant experience of being wakened by the bright, flashing smoke detector light visible in a darkened room.

The people at the front desk was not the friendliest. We asked about breakfast and the guy was very rude about. All we did was ask him if they only serve eggs and sausage for breakfast bc there’s another Americcin in Madison the West one and they serve a full breakfast buffet and have Happy Hour and give cookies out too. The manager said he will cook us potatoes for an extra $300 dollars. He was just rude . And at breakfast there barely anyone there and they couldn’t keep up having enough eggs and bacon for the people that were there. So we’re going to the one at the Madison West next time !

The Graduate is fortunate that they have a fantastic location, because the hotel itself is run down and badly needs a renovation. The lobby and rooms badly need to be upgraded, and I imagine the owners could then get top dollar.
