When we asked for restaurant recommendations other than the hotel restaurant, she was unable to provide any suggestions. Coming from the hospitality industry myself, I found this level of service extremely disappointing.** My experience with Alexandra at the front desk was even worse. She was disrespectful, dismissive, and spoke to me in an unnecessarily loud and unprofessional manner. The manager, Tamas, who was professional and courteous, explained that this may have been due to a privacy policy. However, providing incorrect information to someone legitimately looking for a registered guest is unacceptable and caused unnecessary confusion. On a positive note, the restaurant staff provided excellent service, the food was very good, and the room itself was comfortable.
