Platte Ridge Vacation Packages

Everything worked quite well thank you so much. I was told that there should be a room for me tonight which would have been the second night the 24th I believe Tuesday to come to find out they were sold out if I knew this I would’ve made reservations last night that would be my main disappointment. I live in Texas so now I have to find a different place to stay because I decided to stay in Kansas City one more night.

The breakfast was decent but the bathtub didn't drain. The bedding was comfy. Thin walls.

Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities were great and easy to access. They even have live entertainment which came as a surprise. I would highly recommend.

I loved how my room had a doorbell. The shower was the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The floor to ceiling windows gave luxury but my view was of the Super 8 sign. Overall I would stay here again, I’d just hope that housekeeping would actually clean my room next time.

The bartender who worked Monday night (March 16) was extremely rude and unprofessional. We ordered two rounds of drinks. The espresso martini from the first round didn't taste like espresso at all, but I drank it anyway because I didn't want to be a pain. When we attempted to order a second round, we stood at the bar right in front of him as he passed us over to serve other customers for 3-5 minutes before I finally asked him if we could order a drink. He finally responded to me. I asked him a question about making a lower calorie/sugar version of a paloma, but he was very clearly irritated that he even had to speak to me. We were the only Black people at the bar, and I couldn't help but notice the difference in the way we were treated compared to the other white customers at the bar. I even asked my husband if he did something to offend him when he ordered the first round of drinks, wondering if that was why we were being treated so poorly. I was also disappointed that Lazia was never open one time while we were there. We were told it was because of a "mishap". Everything else was fine, but the poor treatment from the bar tender on Monday night and Lazia never being open (we were not told this in advance) were two major disappointments.
