This is a comfortable hotel, perfect for leaf peeping season. The room was large, the bathroom had a nice tub and shower. The hotel staff were helpful. My only complaint is that we booked a room with a mountain view- in actuality, 90% of the view was a parking lot, and 10% Mt. Crested Butte. It didn’t really matter, we didn’t spend much time in the room.
We had two King Size Rooms with a view of the mountain and both were nice and stocked with great amenities. I would suggest improved lighting options in the rooms as nightstand lighting is insufficient. The onsite restaurant was only open later in the day given it was off season we were told, however the town of Creted Butte was packed with travellers - it would have been nice to have the restaurant open for morning breakfast. The free shuttle service to and from town is fantastic.
Truly a wonderful place to stay when visiting Crested Butte. The room was large and had an amazing Mountain View. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Room was great, though i got a bit hot at night. Not sure how the ac was set or why it stopped being cold. Saw there was a free parking lot online but the front desk said it was not currently available. Was disappointed we had to pay $30 to park for the one night we stayed. Otherwise nice place.
The staff were excellent. Very warm and friendly. Outstanding customer service. Our room seemed a bit outdated. Small tv in a large cabinet .Our bathroom had an older tub, the bathroom cabinet had numerous paint chips ,the small vanity mirror light was out. In the bedroom one of the light bulbs was out in a lamp on the night stand. For the price of the room, the resort fees, and $30.00 a night for parking seemed high for the quality of the room.
Excellent stay, beautiful room and ideal location. Shuttle service to town is fantastic, also access to trails on Gothic Rd. My only suggestion is to be more explicit about where the parking garage is located. It’s a small, discrete door directly beside the lobby. I initially missed it and drove around quite awhile until I came back to ask for help again.
staff were wonderful. Our complaints are about parking fees-they add on 9.00 to access an app and then you have to pay 30.00 a night as well for parking. We’ve been coming here for years but now will look elsewhere-just keep adding on fees.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Staff extremely courteous and welcoming. Great location.
It appears that each room/suite is owned by someone who allows the property to rent out their suite like a hotel does when they are not using it. I like the model if handled well, and it is handled well here. The suite that we had was frankly fabulous, because a well to do family made sure it worked for them in terms of all the construction and design standards. There was tons of closet space, but then additional locked closest spaces marked "Owner's Closet." Everything you would expect in a long term rental was done to a different standard than hotel standard. Master bedroom with luxury bathroom (shower and soaking tub, twin sinks). Second bedroom with great bathroom. A third full bath off the entrance for guests. Large kitchen (fully equipped with everything you might possible need or want other than food) with appliances a step up from hotel suites. Big dining table and living area. Large screen TVs everywhere. A huge balcony with entrances from the living room and each bedroom. Washer/dryer. Heating and air worked great. Everything in condition ready for when the owner's showed up. All decorations are clearly for the owner's family, and you felt like good friends let you use their place. Dom at the front desk was fabulous, and others were great as well. Heated Indoor/outdoor pool and a big hot tub you would probably be comfortable using. Workout facility nice and in good repair. Sauna is marvelous. Parking garage so easy to use and then access room.
