"The property was clean and well taken care of. The backyard little courtyard/deck area was really lovely. The front desk staff was very nice and the location of the hotel was great, only a few minutes walk to the Tube station. The only negative was that there is no elevator in the building and I was on the 4th floor. "

"Rooms are very dated. No soap- had to ask and even then they didn’t provide. Booked double- ended with a twin. Second day, they put another bed in the room! 3 single beds. Had to call down to remove. Backs on to rail line! Had a course at the hotel. Won’t stay again."

"Positives were - good location, nice surroundings by the harbour, bar and restaurant space were nice. Negatives - I booked a family room with cot and asked for a cot on the booking. I also called two days prior and requested confirmation of the cot. Arrived at the hotel to no cot and queried it at reception. Had not arrived by babies bedtime so asked for it the next morning before her nap. Did not arrive for the second night again. Partner who had just done the London marathon slept on the uneven sofa bed. Broken toilet that was not flushing was to be fixed by maintenance - again did not arrive. Dated in areas such as the access to the spa and those facilities. Poorly maintained - broken lift, no alternative directions given. No water for the sauna and no staff around to support - I used four cups to get to 60 degrees. One shower out of order, another cold water. Two water dispensers in the changing area - neither had water. Overall disappointed with the services and finish of the property. "

"I stayed at this hotel twice (two separate stays, two different rooms) this past week and it was fine. A four star is definitely a stretch. The first room was incredibly small (as in, literally nowhere to open your luggage other than on the bed which is ew) and there were issues with the shower (water pressure and temperature). The second room was a different layout so more spacious but a little run down. Other than that, the staff were lovely and the location is great to get an away from the Central London crowds but still super convenient and walkable and the tube to both the airport and the sights is on your doorstep. I recommend it as a solo traveller but I’d confirm your room size/layout before booking if you’re a couple."

"Rooms are small, but there are a lot of compartments for storage. Otherwise it was clean and the bed was comfy after long days of walking around the city. Perfect location near the tube and straight shot on one line from the airport. Restaurants around the area were great but food at the hotel for breakfast was good too. Will definitely stay here again on the next trip."

"Over priced, small room, tv didn’t work properly and poor wi-fi. As I was only there one night for the marathon I didn’t complain but should have!!!!"

"The location is good in terms of getting into central London with Hammersmith tube only a short walk. The rooms are really three star, basic with only a kettle and some water as frills. We did not find the bed too comfortable, and the bathroom looked like was due for upgrade. Breakfast was very good with a lot of quality ingredients and options. The lifts / elevators need attention with long waits and more than 5 people was an overload. Also getting in and out of the hotel was not straightforward, the lobby is on the first floor so you have to get a small lift up one floor. It would be better to have an escalator and is an obvious upgrade. Parking is £1.50 per hour with a code the hotel give you on checkout. I don't think for the price-point I will return, there are newer and better options available locally. "
