"The rooms to the hotel are only accessible passing the pokies area which absolutely stinks of cigarette smoke. A sealed door separates the upstairs accommodation however the smell was overwhelming- even with the aircon on- during the night. We booked for 2 nights but left that first morning. The restaurant had fabulous food and a great menu and specials - would go back to eat but not to stay."

"I had booked to stay two nights but let after 1\. Even though the signs show no smoking, I could smell a combination of food and smoke smells permeating through the building and in my room. I went to see the staff about it as my eyes were being affected by it. They saw my eyes, they tried their best but couldn't help me. My room was right on the main street, with no sound proofing and the noise was unbearable. Needless to say, I could not sleep at all, with noises of cars, motorbikes, trucks and people calling out throughout the night. My lamp wasn't working, there was thick dust on the lampshade and the pillows were just horrible. It's such a shame as with some sound proofing, a good paint job on the walls throughout the property, upgrade of beds and linen, the place would be so much better. The bathrooms luckily have been upgraded and quite clean. Perfect location, great staff but the stay was really bad. I chatted with some others staying there and they all said the same thing. "
