"Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

"The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Marina's apartment. The hints about the unpaved road are really worth to consider. There are a lot of nice places to visit, kids were happy about the cats that came by and Marina and her co-host really answer quickly to any questions. "This the best property in Bellagio! The rooms are modern and spotless, the restaurants are excellent, the pool is refreshing but the best quality of the hotel is their amazing staff. They are a great team dedicated to making your stay perfect. I emailed questions and they were responsive and helpful in advance and also after arrival. Even shop owners in town said they consistently hear the Belvedere should be rated 5 stars. My only advice is there is no transportation in the town (taxi or uber) so make sure if you are not renting a car have the Bellagio book a car and driver for you."
