Cheraw Vacation Packages

First time I’ve ever made a loop through the parking lot and said oh hell no we ain’t staying there. Very rundown. Half the windows were open so I doubt the AC works. There were a few unsavory looking characters having a tailgate social in the parking lot to top it off. We never even checked in and they refused us a refund. I was ok with taking the loss and finding a safer place to stay.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and everything worked like it should. The ice machine on our floor was out of order the entire three day stay. There were black spots on the blanket which was a little concerning, but the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. It’s a little annoying that the king room is set up for a single occupant. One coffee cup, one water cup, one washcloth, etc. we could ask for more but thought it should have had 2 of everything. I understand they are trying to save money, but it’s still bothersome. The staff made up for it. They were all friendly and helpful and we had a good stay.

We had stayed at that hotel a few years back. It was a terrible experience. It wasn’t a Travelodge at the time. We since heard from a friend that it was under a new name and ownership. They have done amazing things with the place. It definitely not a 5 star but the room and lobby was clean. A continental breakfast is offered but is a little slim. However there is also an iHop in the parking lot and many other restaurants within walking distance. We chose it because of the easy access. I would stay there again.

it was barely passable as adequate. the place didn't feel clean, the breakfast was just waffles and cereal, when you advertise "free breakfast" there should be more breakfast food, like eggs, bacon or sausage, orange juice. maybe my standards were too high, sorry
