Located just a block from one of the few local beaches, this home is perfect for those wanting to spend some time on and in beautiful Lake Chelan. Hike and mountain bike throughout the Wenatchee National Forest, kayak or canoe down the Columbia River, or just spend some time in downtown Chelan where you can shop and dine to your heart's content. And when the snow is falling, head north just 11 miles to Echo Valley for skiing, tubing, and snowboarding. The Lake Chelan area offers wine tasting at more than 20 wineries and scenic golf courses right near town (the Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course is about three miles away)!

Good value and location
This property is a good value in a decent location just outside the main part of town. There are only two proper bedrooms, but the rear entry/laundry room was generously sized and housed the extra bed ok. Everything worked well in the house and there is a nice park/beach within a 5 minute walk and a small convenience store is close by too. Most other amenities and destinations require a short drive. However, our issue was with Vacasa/Home Away's pet policy, which appear not to be set by the property owner. The rate of $20 per dog PER DAY plus taxes and fees is unreasonable and unnecessary. I hope other renters, the property owner and Vacasa/Home Away take this feedback seriously and Vacasa/Home Away adjusts their fee structure to be more reasonable. The dogs cost almost as much as the humans, no matter the weight or size of the dogs. Pretty ridiculous. Their rates are also not clear on the rental page, leading us to think the first dog was included in the base rate, which it is not. If you travel with dogs, I'd recommend elsewhere.

Great little house
This house is awesome. We stay at full capacity for a week and it was really easy the bathroom was not a problem and the backyard was amazing. Only thing missing from the back yard is a hammock. We come to chelan every year and look forward to saying here again in the future.

Central location; no fuss spot!
Was a good spot for a reasonably priced spot centrally located that you’re not spending a whole lot of time at. Rooms don’t get the AC with the doors closed so it was a bit hot staying with other guests/keeping privacy of the doors open to get enough cold air. Beds were not comfortable but did the job. We did find mouse poop on the couch under the cushion in the main room so it’s not a spot we’ll come back to but as always happy to get a weekend in Chelan anytime!

It had everything!
Overall it was real good! There was construction right next to us though which wasnt that bad but if we knew about the construction I probably would've looked for a place elsewhere. Other than that my family had a great time here and my old father really enjoyed the recliner. Only complaint were from the kids about the walls the bunk beds were against were dirty and the top bunk there were spiders. We came to go fishing for a day so this little house was perfect! We barbecued both nights and didn't have to get any utensils for anything, house had it all. And it's pretty close to everything, even the casino which is on the other side only took about 15 minutes to drive to. You are on the main road though into the city but backing out of the driveway onto the main road was never a problem at all. But again everything was so close, Safeway 5 minutes, downtown stores and bars 4 minutes, boat and jet ski rentals 2-3 minutes, waterslide park 2 minutes. Overall I was pretty satisfied with the rental and location of the rental and all that it provided.
