"location was great, room was totally fine, clean except for the floor could’ve done with a sweep. we stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect as just a base to sleep. the kitchen didn’t smell great and the cupboards smelt bad when opened, plus there was opened food items left out on the kitchen table the whole time it was there so i’m unsure how often cleaners come, but it was absolutely fine for what we needed and cheaper than anything else in dublin! it was nearby some great pubs and bars and places to eat, 20 mins walk to the city centre"

"Large free car park, from the outside the hotel looks somewhat dated, like a 70s school block. However inside it’s very nine, quite spacious and a nice bar restaurant (Liffey Bar) with a lunch carvery, bar menu, daily specials. Portions were huge and the food was lovely, we had lunch and dinner here twice and couldn’t fault it. Service was very good, plenty of staff and all genuinely friendly. Breakfast is served in the Pine Restaurant and again was plentiful and really good. Lots of cold and hot options, cereal, muesli, fresh fruits, yoghurts, full Irish breakfast, veggie options, toast, porridge etc. The menu actually states if they don’t have anything you want ask them anyway and they will see what they can do - above and beyond IMHO. Our room was a good size and at the front middle, car park view, and countryside, hills beyond - very nice. Would definitely use again - short bus ride into city centre, good for Marlay Park which is why we were here."

"Good hotel to crash and sleep, small rooms/bed. Very clean and with the basics: for example, did not find a trash can in the room, nor anything to make tea/coffee, not one hanger to hand anything, there is barely space next to the bed to sit anything. Modern and well maintained. Staff is nice. There are not many amenities, but a coffee machine and a water dispenser in the lobby helped. All worked OK, location is close to LUAS, the train station, and walking distance to the main city center attractions, and plenty of coffee shops nearby. The street is quiet and low key, but if you walk a couple of blocks north, there is this completely separate area called Stonebatter which has lots of places to eat, drink and party. We were pleased with everything, some aparthotels do offer more for the same or less price, so that is the only critique we have. The fact that is pet friendly and do not over charge for the pet stay is a plus."
