"Such a wonderful stay! Great location, wonderful staff, daily housekeeping and turn down service, with daily coffee and treats on our floor. So many nice touches. We really enjoyed the bar, wish the pool was heated. Would stay again!"

"To have a luxury hotel like this that is privately owned and not a massive corporate feel is awesome. We love the Charleston place and all the changes they have been making over the past few years. Beautiful property great vibe and quiet luxury."

8/10 Good
"Very clean, streamlined room. Central stash was helpful. Enjoyed rooftop area a lot - comfortable seating arrangements around decking, ping pong , cornhole and we played farkle. Son got up early to view spacex launch from patio — got some hotel crew out with him; he got neat pix from it. Downside—homeless shelter right next door and limited street parking where they hang. We had no issues with any of them, but I would not do alone. We did walk to king street area from hotel. Not too far. We spoked from hotel to north Charlotte, to folly’s island, to historic Charleston and to Shems Creek and Sullivans island. All easy drives."
