Decor is beautiful, bar was great (try the espresso martini!), staff was very friendly and helpful, and the included continental breakfast was icing on the cake. Would recommend and would stay again. Best suited for couples of any age. Not really suited for families of young children."

"This is a very comfortable hotel right in the middle of Charleston with lots of good restaurants, museums and historical attractions within walking distance. The staff is helpful, omnipresent and courteous. Not cheap, however. Rooms are reasonably priced but amenities can be costly. We liked our room, but some issue with water pressure and water running through cold water faucet never really got cold. Overall we would recommend the Bennett/ provided you are not on a budget! Complimentary car service was a big plus."
