Forfaits vacances – Champlain

2 adults and 2 kids traveling for vacation. We had booked a condo with one bed and one pull out couch intended for the kids. When we arrived the pull out couch was not made up and there were no covers or sheets for the kids. We called front desk and bed linens were delivered after which we unpacked and made up the sofa bed ourselves. Not really what we were expecting for a luxury resort. Also a few items missing like no hand soap in the bathroom, and found a lot of long black hairs on the bed, in the bathroom and several other places. The condo we stayed in was really run down. The fridge was extremely noisy making it hard for the kids to fall asleep. On day two the sink completely clogged up and to make matters worse the toilet stopped be able to flush in the middle of the night. The pull-chain inside the cistern had broken but luckily my husband managed to fix it. Also there was mold in the shower. The food was mediocre. I will say that the kids had a blast at the river pool, which was the best thing about our stay. The day of departure the water stopped working all of the sudden due to plumbing maintenance and we were not informed. It would have been nice with a heads up in case you needed to use the toilet! All in all a disappointing experience and not worth the money we paid. I will say that the staff was nice and helpful when we had any issues.

Tu he inside of the hotel really need to be renovated. The bedroom and bathroom was very outdated, everything needs to be updated. Bed was confortable. Breakfast terrible. We stayed there because of its location and reasonable price.

This is my second year here and I love it. It's perfectly clean, smells nice and feels homeh. I have a large family and there's always room for my kids to spread out and have their own space. I'll be back again.
