"We enjoyed staying here. The decorations are adorable, and we liked the privacy. However, the beds were very uncomfortable (we each slept in a twin,) and the place is like mere feet from a very busy highway. To someone who is used to no traffic sounds, the constant traffic made it harder to fall asleep. The place was clean, but coffee grounds were not trashed from last use. There is also a tiny cabin attached to the back of this cabin. There was no one staying there while we were, but keep in...

Wonderful House on Weiss Lake! Two piers and nearby boat launch. Sleeps 16

10/10 Excellent

"Very clean, cozy and private. We loved our stay here!"

Hampton Inn Jacksonville-Anniston Area

8/10 Good

"Chloe at the desk was amazing! She remembered our family from our previous stay and that my little boy is a very picky eater and loves the popcorn in the lobby. She is a stand out employee. The girl in the morning checkout never spoke and we had to speak first to make her speak to us. A woman fell in the lobby and we helped her up. We told the same unpleasant morning worker it happened so she could check on her and she just looked at us like she was disgusted it happened and again never spoke. There is a huge difference in the service received between Chloe and the other girl!! As far as the room, it was nice but the floor makes your feet “black”, getting rid of the carpet would be an excellent upgrade to the place. The food was warm and delicious for breakfast the next morning."

Waterfront house on Weiss Lake

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here for a weekend getaway and a little fishing. The location of this house on the water was amazing. (Make sure you don’t follow gps, look at maps before you go.). The parking with a boat was a little tricky, I wouldn’t suggest anything more than a few cars or 1 boat and maybe 2 vehicles. Being able to use the dock was so convenient. Water was down while we were there, but we were still able to utilize it. I caught more fish in front of the house than I did on the boat! Very relaxing place to stay!!"

Weiss Lake Rustic Cabin on the water, new flooring!

10/10 Excellent

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The property is beautiful, and the lake and outdoor area were definitely one of our favorite parts. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to spend time with our little family of four and our dog.The listing says the cabin sleeps 10, although I’m not sure that would be realistic for 10 adults. There are two pull-out couches, one full-size bed, one king-size bed, and a bunk bed. In my opinion, it would comfortably accommodate a few adults and three or four children. There were plenty of blankets and towels available, which was a nice bonus.A couple of small things could have made our stay even better. There wasn’t any dish soap or a sponge available for washing the dishes we used, so those would be helpful to have. It would also be nice if the bathrooms provided basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! The cabin was comfortable, the property was beautiful, and it was a great fit for our family and our dog. We would happily stay here again!"
