Bring your groceries and you’ll have everything you need for a peaceful getaway. The walk down to the cabin from the parking area is a little steep and gravelly, which may be a challenge for those with mobility or balance issues. The living space was spotless and the sliding doors almost give you the feeling that you’re up in the trees. The cabin was awesome and sitting in the treetops with the sound of the water below will wash away any worries you may be carrying. My husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary and it was exactly what we needed. Tony is so nice and kind and great to work with and takes care of any needs you may have. I must also give a shout out to the house keeper because her work was exceptional. We met several people in the town and everyone is very friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Loved the restaurants and the beauty of the mountains are breath taking. We wished we could buy a house and move here so we definitely will return. This property was perfect for a much needed respite. It is both in the middle of no where but also a short drive to the small town of Mentone. The house is beautifully furnished and incredibly well kept. We were there in the spring so the adjacent ski resort and girls camp were empty, but imagine the private property with gate gives you quite a bit of privacy even when they are occupied. The River access and covered bridge are as advertised and were a wonderful bonus to the property. The cabin description was accurate and these were not issues for us, but renters should be aware that there is no cell service or WiFi. A landline is available for emergencies. The kitchen is small with basic supplies (no dishwasher) but large family meals would be a challenge. Part of the cabin will be locked off if you are not paying the charge for additional occupancy. The road in is gravel with a few washed out places. Just drive carefully. Overall, we loved the property and our stay. Would definitely stay again. ##### Angela G.
