The hidden hamlet of Center Point is the perfect location for your Hill Country adventure. Wining and dining, shopping and strolling, fishing and floating, hiking and biking, Center Point is the is, as the name suggests, in the center of it all! Center Point is conveniently located 10 minutes from Comfort and Kerrville and 30 minutes from Fredericksburg and Boerne. This pet-friendly home (pet fee is extra) is perfect for a weekend get-away or working remotely, away from the traffic and noise of larger cities.

This lovingly restored home is close to 100 years old and is just steps away from the local watering hole (literally and figuratively) – the Zanzenberg Inn, Central Provisions, and the local dam on the Guadalupe River are all a stone’s throw away. The bungalow sits on 1/3 acre on a quiet residential side street. The WiFi service is strong and reliable enough to support working remotely. Alternatively, if you prefer to unwind – this is the perfect location. From the comfort of the large back porch, enjoy the deer who commonly pass through the backyard at night, the neighborhood cat who can’t resist a good petting, or star gazing. Settle in with a nice book, nice glass of wine, good conversation, or just the peace and quiet of small town Texas.

Our host, Valerie was great. The house is very cute and comfortable. We had some cold weather issues and water issues that were beyond her control and she kept us informed about what we needed to do. If you like a very small town that is in the middle of many cute towns, this is your place. We walked to the river daily to watch the ducks. It takes 10 minutes to get there. We had deer in our backyard daily. It is part of their routine.A great Mexican restaurant is right across the street.Toucan Jim's is a local hang out with the best fish tacos. There is a great little coffee shop with a beautiful garden in the back. A Provisions store that had music and other events weekly. Also a higher end steak place that we enjoyed. All within steps of each other, but were only open Thursday thru Saturday or Sunday. This gives you time to explore other small towns nearby that have cute shops and great food.A great little place to stay to explore Texas Hill Country.

We have stayed there before and really enjoyed it. The Roku TVs were aggravating, only one did what it was supposed to. Tried to watch White Christmas - a Free Featured movie - and only the TV in the front bedroom worked. The others asked for Roku PIN. Not enough trash cans or trash bags. We would stay there again if we come back to Kerrville but only if the TVs worked.

This house was comfortable, clean, well stocked and a pleasure to stay in. It is close to the areas we wanted to visit, but quiet and peaceful. The host thought of everything abs was easy to worn with. We will definitely return.

The cottage was very clean and charming. The furniture including the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and has essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper. The host Valerie even had a little bathroom pantry in case someone forgot toothpaste or deodorant. There is also a large deck with comfortable patio furniture. Our host Valerie checked in with us via email to see how we were doing and was very responsive to any questions. We enjoyed being in walking distance to downtown Center Point which has a lovely coffee shop, and good wine and dine opportunities.

Cute and cozy home!

We spent 4 nights while visiting family and friends in Comfort for Thanksgiving. This is a super cute heritage style home that’s been really nicely redone and had everything we needed. The home was immaculate and beautifully furnished, we enjoyed the covered back deck and comfortable beds. We accidentally locked ourselves out one evening and the owner was very responsive and helped us out right away. We didn’t have enough time to explore too much of the area but we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Lovely comfortable cottage

We wanted to find a nice place to stay between Fredericksburg and Kerrville, away from crowds and very comfortable. We found it! The cottage is 100 years old but has been modernized and beautifully appointed. The kitchen had everything needed.

the cottage in Center Point

The Cottage in Center Point was perfect for our needs as we assisted our son and his family during their move to Comfort. Our host's communication made check-in/check-out a breeze. The beds were quite comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. When you stay at The Cottage be sure to enjoy the 8 minute drive to Camp Verde General Store/Restaurant. Delicious food, great service, and beautiful, historic location. We will definitely return soon.

Comfortable hill country getaway

Greatly enjoyed our weekend hill country stay at this lovely two-bed bungalow in Center Point. All needed amenities for cooking onsite, comfortable beds, lovely outdoor covered seating/patio for gathering. Greatly appreciated the air conditioning during peak summer, and central location to amenities and restaurants in nearby Kerrville and Comfort.

The first thing my wife said is "Let's buy this". Very comfortable, well-designed, somewhat eclectic but lots of personality. We got home and wife said, "Let's go back". Front bedroom HVAC vent needs to be fixed, locked shut.

Lovely Cottage in a great location

I would definitely stay here again! The cottage is comfortable (great beds!) and beautifully decorated. Plenty of towels, dish soap, dishes and cookware if you need it. We got locked out once, and the owner was very happy to help and even told me where an extra key was hidden in case we needed it. The location is amazing - two min from Lions Park to float and swim in the Guadalupe. Less than 10 min from Calp Verde General Store and restaurant. Only about 20 min to Medina, Bandera and Kerrville so it’s the perfect Hill Country spot!
