"Great place to go for peace and quiet, but it’s far from everything- so it depends on what you’re looking for. The staff was really wonderful— incredibly attentive,. My only criticism would be the rooms need a bit of an upgrade. The netting in the room needs to be washed more often. The food was great overall it was a wonderful experience."

"The property was flooded by the river in December. They are remaking all the gardens. The front desk people are terrible. They dont have information and are the opposite of a client service. The food is wonderful. It is an eco-hotel without running water in the toilets but that is part of the philosophy. Tryed to pay with the credit card online so I did not have to pay a surcharge, but the front desk had not updated the system so it could not be done and had to pay a surcharge."
"We had an incredible stay at Hostal Mocambo Beach. Everything went really smooth and the staff is very approachable and kind. The rooms are cozy with amazing views on the ocean and you can hear the waves all night long. Overall we had a great experience and I would highly recommend staying here when you want to spend a beautiful time right at the beach. "

The cabins and the views are incredible. It has a swimming pool. And if the next day you want to go to the beach you can do it.
And if the next time you want to go to the river or trekking you can do it.
