"The Colonial was great! Beautiful, peaceful, and with plenty of old southern charm. Great location to downtown Hillsborough. Stayed in a double queen room annex and it was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was very nice. Really liked the outdoor seating for relaxing. Only constructive criticism is they need towel rods on walls in addition to the hooks and it would be nice to have the small refrigerator sit on a table instead of on the floor. Will definitely stay there...

"This is a very quaint and comfortable little motel. If you like nostalgia, this is the place for you. It is a throwback to the old style motels. The room was clean and the property was well maintained and quiet. Easy to walk to the shops, park and restaurants in downtown Blowing Rock. The only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the pillows are flat. We would definitely return for another stay!"

"What great great little Inn. I made a mistake with room and the owner was very understanding and fixed our room mistake me. The coffee shop right next door was a blessing . Baked goods, bagels, and the best coffee. One block from the water front . Great restraunts line the streets. Would absolutely recommend Lil Inn on Main"
