Everything was clean and ready for us to enjoy. The house and pool deck are spacious and laid out nicely. The neighborhood around the lake is quiet with great views of sunset. Both the pool and the hot tub were very clean and set at just right temps. At the end of the day, it was nice to have a large, comfortable bed. Ingrid was exceptional to communicate with and strives to make sure your time there is top notch. My wife and I would recommend this place for a relaxing stay. ##### Bob C. We saw so much wildlife in the lake while enjoying the pool every day! Every morning we had breakfast in the lanai and watched the anhingas fish, the turtles popping thier little heads out, and the beautiful hawks flying in the sky. The sunsets here are so beautiful and Deep Lagoon is a restaurant that is 15 minutes away with the absolute best fresh seafood!! We totally recommend the Blue Pelican and we will most definitely be staying there again!! We miss it already!! Ingrid is a very wonderful host and she makes sure your stay is perfect! The hosts Jerry and Ingrid were 10/10 amazing. The pool -the hot tub-the views..all stunning. The bed was super comfy..and the house was so clean. New tempurpedic mattress in the master. Amazing panoramic views of the lake from anywhere on the lanai. Tvs in both bedrooms plus a large screen in the living room. Numerous channels to pick from. Nice large sectional for 5, with recliners for 4\. Equipped with everything you could need and spotlessly clean. Large outdoor area with lovely pool and hot tub. Loved watching the wildlife come and go throughout the day. The home was immaculate and well maintained. The privacy and view that the outside pool area provided us was exceptional! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we could have needed. Our host, Ingrid, was very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend the Blue Pelican to anyone looking for a vacation rental in Cape Coral Florida. ##### Thomas D. My husband and I spent one month at the Blue Pelican. Everything was as described on the listing. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, all appliances worked well. The lanai, right on the lake, with pool and hot tub was our favorite spot. Very relaxing and quiet.When I realized I had left some medication after checking out, Ingrid was very responsive, as was the housekeeper, Sue, who contacted me and arranged to have my meds sent to my home. I would recommend the Blue Pelican to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation and a super responsive host. ##### Gail K. The property was so clean (we actually got there early and Sue was cleaning). She was so nice. Ingrid, our host, was so amazing with her communication to us before, during and after. The house was perfect for two couples. The pool and hot tub were clean and we used them every day. Our only regret was that we didn’t have a longer trip planned. If you are questioning whether to book or not, don’t worry, do it, you won’t be disappointed! ##### Rita E. That being said it was a very nice place as everyone has detailed in other reviews. I got in one good day and then had bad luck with the weather. (can I pay extra for good weather next time?) But even on rainy days you can go around and try to figure out which light switch does what. \*Tip - the pool light is behind the lamp in the living room. That one took me awhile. Really enjoyed the pool and was able to enjoy the hot tub when it got unseasonable cool the last night. But with the bad weather came some really impressive sunsets. Wish I could post pictures! Overall, great spot, super private, relaxing and the host seems to be as prompt and available as any person could be. Hope to be back! ##### Jason R.
