"Great location - quiet end of the beach! The bungalows were lovely. Hospitality wasn’t great - not he warm welcome and customer service we’d had before coming to the islands. Sun beds on the beach were a great bonus although you need to get out early as there’s not enough for all paying guests."

"We arrived and were asked to wait so that the guy on the desk could spray the room with air freshener. On entering the room the place looked shabby and on close inspection of the pillows we quickly decided not to use them as some were stained yellow. The a/c turned on but did nothing to cool down the room and the fan on the wall only oscillated about twice before sticking. There was a bracket on the wall where the tv once was and the electric wires sticking out of the wall where the shower once...

Les poubelles des précédents invités n’étaient pas vidés et le bidon d’eau était vide à notre arrivé. Prestation pas à la hauteur de l’attente pour le tarif. "Stayed for 5 nights and couldn’t really fault the hotel. All staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Received a room upgrade, breakfast had a good selection, evening meal at the restaurant was excellent with plenty of choices both western and Asian, pool was great with happy hour at the pool bar between 3-5, sky bar then continued happy hour from 5-7\. Staying at the Palace Gate Hotel was indeed the perfect way to start our Cambodian Trip. "
