Get your camera out at Ta Prohm Temple the trees growinginto the structure make it a prime photography spot. You can easily access thearchaeological park from Siem Reap on a tour bus, bicycle or tuk-tuk. Withinthe park, you can even rent an elephant to get around.

The city of Siem Reap does have charms of its own as well. Be sureto enjoy some of the local cuisine. Many of the restaurants feature outdoorseating so that you can relax on the patio for the afternoon while savouring aKhmer curry. Siem Reap is packed with day spas, where you can get traditionaltreatments and massages to unwind after a day of exploring.

Fill your suitcase with handmade goods that you can find at thestreet markets. The area specialises in silk and it’s hard to resist thegorgeous fabrics, robes, and home items that vendors sell.

Siem Reap International Airport has daily arrivals and departures fromall over the world. Visitors can also get buses into the city from Vietnam,Thailand, and Laos. Many people opt to rent a taxi from the border of Cambodiaif they’re doing a multiple country tour.

I enjoyed the warmth/friendliness of the Cambodian people - the broken streets, mass of scooters, shops, street vendors, massages, restaurants and pubs. Ankgor Wat was amazing (no tourists) - lots of walking in heat & dust

Great city! Very walkable and safe (tuk tuk drivers do approach you to buy drugs though, beware). Excellent restaurants everywhere with really good menus and prices. Loved it there!

Lovely, with so much more to offer than just the temples. We loved it and wished we had more time there.
