"Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing how they upgrade the hotel after the January shutdown. We will be back."

"This is an excellent place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts left such nice welcoming items, including a delicious lemon cake which was much appreciated. The views out the back are amazing. The bedrooms were so beautiful, with their old beams and stonework. Really a favorite. Looking forward to returning. "
