« The lake was majestically frozen this time of year. We enjoyed the view of it from the full floor to ceiling windows of our Cedar cabin. The sauna beside the lake with a full bathroom with shower was a luxury for this time of year. I imagine the small building that houses it is also a luxury for after swimming in the lake.This property is beautiful. It has to be a joy during the summer, however it is very pricey. There are more budget friendly places around. However, for a special time with...

« We had an excellent weekend! We used the place for a family snowshoeing trip with adults and little kids! Talia was very responsive and great to work with. The lower level had in floor heat they weren’t wrong when it said it takes a while. It never got warm on its own, and thankfully we found the space heater. With little kids this was concerning. Otherwise the place was great and would recommend. »

« Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house worked very well for our family group of 15 & the location was very convenient to Crosslake. However we arrived after the first snowfall & the driveway & steps were not cleared. You have to climb the steps to access the house & they were slippery. We could not find a shovel & the access to the room above the garage was not obvious when nothing was cleared. Also, the garbage service had not picked up the garbage from the previous week. « Border Point Lodge was the perfect fall (MEA break) getaway for our family of four (2 boys ages 2.5 & 7) another couple (55ish). Owners were super communicative but also “chill” if that makes sense. The pics online are exactly what you pull up to! Bistro string lights welcome you to a cozy main living space. I appreciated that there weren’t fragrance plug ins or heavily fragranced cleaning supplies used either! The online check-in portal was useful and informative. You tube video links to...

« We loved our stay at Eagle’s Nest - Main House. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us and there were also plenty of entertaining things to do. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. The kids loved the pool, which was one of the biggest draws for us. The house was stocked with a lot of beach towels, it was nice to not have to bring our own. The property was big and we had quite a few scavenger hunts and a fire w/smores. « The first thing I noticed was the entrance. Dirty, peeling painted chairs and a huge pile of some metal pieces stacked up on the corner. Back and front entrances looked liked they hadn’t been swept all summer. Dead, overgrown weeds all around the house. Walked in and the musty smell was overbearing. Couldn’t open windows because they were painted shut. It is basically a demo house waiting to happen. I had to get a different place to stay. Don’t waste your money. »
