"Really nice property located about 10 minutes outside of Fenelon Falls. Property has been beautifully updated and has all needed amenities. It’s a short walk from the lake at the end of the road. I did book thinking the property was directly on the lake but wasn’t overly disappointed that it was a backlot with slight slivers of lake view from the property in front. "The place is not as it is described and full of dirt and black molds plus strange insects on beds. The sheets are not clean at all and you have to wash them be careful. I would give zero star if I could as I am really disappointed. We had to sleep in the car"

"A hidden gem of the Kawarthas! Brett was an amazing host, very communicative with timely responses. There were many basic amenities in case you forget. Place was clean/tidy, and had lots to do! We enjoyed our stay. The hosts definitely put alot of thought into everything to accommodate you. Would recommend to couples or families, very cozy. Thank you for the great stay."

"Our stay in general was a good experience. The owner was very patient and helpful to answer our questions. The cottage has a lot of potentials. Pros: - Air conditioning is available. "We spent a week at Beach Cottage while our house was being sold in the city. This cottage was the ideal place to relax, enjoy the lovely beach, watch the sunrises and sunsets, and take in this calm, beautiful location. The cottage was thoughtfully renovated and well equipped. The lake was so clean and fun to swim in. Our dog had a blast as well. A true gem!"

"Enjoyed another stay at the hotel. Staff helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet had good variety but need to have better tea selection especially green tea Just a few issues. One thing that needed improvement was the landscaping around the property. All flowerbeds require weeding and bushes need to be trimmed. Also the flower boxes outside the rooms were full of weeds that need to be cleaned out. The outside appearance is not a great first impression for your guests. Also heard a lot of guests complain about TV not working in their room and also the WI-FI needs to be upgraded. "
