Bonnyville Vacation Packages

The rooms were well furnished and clean, you can tell there has been some recent renovations and all the furniture is nice and everything well maintained. Easy parking and easy check in. Good location for walking downtown, we only had a short walk to rogers area. We did have a late check out approved, however we still had the cleaners knocking on the door, which was a little frustrating as they proceeded to let themselves into the room. I feel like the entrance way/front desk could be more tidy, as it doesn't give a good expectation for the actual rooms, which are lovely. Would stay again 🙂

Wanted to stay at the Macdonald for its historical elements. They promise quality service and they deliver on it. Our river view room was just perfect.

The hot food was not in warmers that kept them warm, so the eggs were cold, as was the bacon and sausage. The bacon and sausage were put in a container and I think it might have been placed in hot water at one time but it was cold water when I got there at 6 am. Per Alberta Health codes, the hot food should have been in some type of warmers if it was to be hot food. For a Ramada chain, this would be a standard I would think, and it was not the case her. In my room, dust covered everything, even the nightstand and clock beside my face where I was sleeping. There were stains on the chair. Everything looked neat and tidy, and the towels were clean, but I feel for the price and the national chain brand, it was a poor reflection. The front desk apologized but when I showed them pics and told them to check the room, they simply said "sorry". Very polite but zero was rectified.
