"We booked the hotel because it had a restaurant and bar and close to Sydney when we got there we were informed that there was a special event and the restaurant was closed as also was the bar we were told they could not get us any type of dinner till 730 which was extremely disappointing so we had to drive in and find a restaurant to go to after a very long day driving so it was a great disappointment The room itself was excellent. The staff were good, but we’re so busy. They weren’t very helpful and helping us find a place to eat so we use ChatGPT to find the yacht club that was shortly down the road and would highly recommended to anybody that ever stayed at that hotel."

"The location is ideal, in walking distance to the centre of Baddeck. The gardens are well kept and the property looks very appealing. Across the Inverary Resort has a bar and restuarant. Rooms were well equipped and beds comfy."

"Remember this is a motel, not a 4/5 star hotel but having said that, it was very clean, tidy, well maintained, with great helpful staff, in a fantastic location and with a superb restaurant serving both breakfast and evening meals, all at great prices, with quality food/service and plentiful. Don't hesitate to book this property."

"Checkin was a breeze, and the room was decorated with charm and elegance. It was also a nice touch to have coffee available in the front lobby the next morning. Vicinity to stores and shops are all within steps away from the front door."

"The room was large and clean. It had everything we needed, including 24 hours nice hot coffee and tea at reception. Bed was just on the verge of being too hard. It is probably okay for one or two nights, but three became a challenge. The pillows weren't great. I'd recommend requesting the top floor, as noise from the room above came through fairly easily. All in all, a nice place. Bring your favorite pillow and ask for top floor, and you're all set."
