Beautiful stay…everything close by for shopping. Very quiet and nicely decorated… continental breakfast included. Grounds nicely arranged and plenty of outdoor seating on spacious veranda
The room was clean and had everything we needed. The front desk was very helpful, the location is terrific. The room had a porch that overlooked the lake. Was quiet and well taken care of... suggestion to management to fix the roadway at the bottom of the drive, but it was no big deal! Would go back there any time.
Great location. Rooms were basic but clean. The breakfast was very continental. We bought our own fruit and yogurt to fill it in. Washrooms need to install some grab bars for senior security.
Very nice accommodations. Excellent bed and pillows. Grounds maintenance lacking as is TV reception. Breakfast was bountiful for a continental meal. Staff are very nice and accommodating.

On-site parking, very close to restaurants and highways. Old property, also offered complimentary breakfast for last day, not many options though.
Good location. Within walking distance of main area of Baddeck. This property is generally run down. The bed was comfortable but the room was not clean. Rusty lamp with moody shade. Cobwebs behind the door. Absolutely no excuse for the lack of cleanliness.

We were comfortable. Nice location and nice property. It does need a little updating though. The breakfast was just ok as the eggs were packaged and not fresh. The rest was ok.
One of the best breakfasts I had on this trip - simple but well planned. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean. The floors were a bit cold so I wish they gave slippers. The only thing is it is amazingly close to nature. So close that there was a flock of birds outside the territory that was absolutely yelling for most of the night, kind of sounded like two car alarms going off at the same time. Bring ear plugs if you travel in breeding season 😅
Location was good. The motel was very old and dated. Tiny room. You could barely get by the tv and bed to the bathroom. We asked for a pet free but we had a dog on both sides so they were not dog free. Dog hair all over. I love dogs but I don’t need to sleep with someone else’s dog hair and smell.
Be well aware you get what you pay for!!
The bathroom was half renovated. The electrical sockets in the entire room only worked at times, not when you needed them. So frustrating. The tv was a 12 inch monitor. This took about a half hour to get working. Out door stairs to get to the second floor. The bed wasn't bad, room was reasonably clean. Breakfast was just ok.
Bad spot to stay, hotel had lots of potential but it is clear the current owners are not putting in an effort to keep it going. Stayed for 4 days and would not recommend this place.
Location - good
Room - dated and dirty
Bed - frame was broken on arrival and we had to put it back together with spare chucks of wood under the bed from the last time it broke and was not repaired.
Bathroom - dated, with bad plumbing and a loud squeal when tub was running.
Breakfast-Awful we ate out 3 days after trying it day 1 of the stay.
Amenities- None
Parking - plentiful
The room was nice and tidy, there were some cobwebs and dust in the room, however it was the offseason! The parking was right up by the door and really convenient. The staff were also very kind. No breakfast during the winter.
I reception check-in was quick and efficient. The roon was clean but dated. The curtains were on the window needed repair.
This is a 3 star at best. No food offered on site.
Friendly staff. Clean room although bit dated. Great location. Walking distance to village. I like that arent any carpets.Fridge iron and hairdryer provided in the room. Value for you money. Would definitely stay again.
Pet friendly
Delicious breakfast
