Nice setting, good views of bay from the top floor of McDonald House. The rooms are dated, and the TV was smaller than a standard computer monitor.

  • Liked: Staff & service

This was a very convenient place to stay in the beautiful town of Baddeck. We were 2 couples and 1 single, and were given 3 adjacent rooms on the ground floor, with Adirondack chairs outside the rooms on the walkway. It was nice to be close together. The rooms were ok, but dated. However, the beds were very comfortable. Also, a continental breakfast was included (cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, muffins, juice, tea, coffee) so that made it even better value.

  • Disliked: Property conditions & facilities

The unit we were in was very dated and stale. It smelled stale, so we had to keep the window open to freshen things up. I was not impressed when I turned down the bed to discover a long black hair on the pillowcase.
