« Even though it rained the entire weekend, we enjoyed our stay! The fireplace was wonderful to come back to after a day out and about. The cabin is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. Our only regret was not being able to use the deck or get down to the lake because of the weather! Also appreciated the text from the owners before we got there to let us know to contact them if we needed anything. »

« Lovely old cabin on a quiet, shallow lake. We liked the privacy even though the property manager was right next door. Cabin was well appointed with everything we needed for or 3 night stay. Only minor drawbacks that were not noted in the description were: * access to the lake - stairway was long and steep, no space on the dock for our boat, * had to haul luggage, coolers, etc. across ~80 yds of lawn to get to the cabin (and back, of course!) »

« This lake house was very well equipped for our families stay. The bedrooms were large and clean. We came to Minnesota for a family wedding that was at a venue close by. It was the perfect location for that. There was also a grocery store near by. We were very happy with choosing this house over a local hotel. »

« Loved the house and lake access! We came here for the USA Target cup. It was about a 20-30 minute drive to the fields. It was worth the drive we liked being away from the crowded fields and heard Elk River was a safe area. The house was perfect for our group. We loved the kayaks and SUPs. « My adult children had requested a large house for those who wanted to sleep in, and a communal kitchen space. This cabin had that and more. The water access wasn’t great, as a long steep stairway led to a rocky shoreline. But once there, water activities were wonderful! We would have enjoyed more yard room, but made due with generous neighbors. »

The steep wood stairs down to the dock were tough for the little ones, but the alternate rock steps were nice »
