We were running late for check in and this gentleman called me to make sure I was coming vs locking the doors and leaving without a care. Man at the motel said he could not refund the charge as it was Expedia policy to not refund. Drywall dust in the bathrrom, but it did not appear there was much effort in trying to update. I really believe I am due a refund for the one night. The sign said Princeton Motel. Then the management was unkempt, sloppy and difficult to understand. The room was furnished with garage or rummage sale bedding which appeared to be unclean. The pillowcases were disgusting. The 2 chairs were stained, filthy, sticky, and tacky. The few towels we had appeared to be from a rummage sale. There was one small package of hand soap and a quarter full container of liquid hand soap. The toilet bowl had a dirty black ring. The toilet tank had been repaired with some kind of gray epoxy. Thhe sink drain was exposed and the stopper uinusable. There was 1 very small wastebasket. The walls had holes that were unrepaired and unpainted. There was a washer and dryer . The washing machine was missing its front panel so the tub was exposed. There was no phone in the room with which to call emergency services. There were a lot of loud bangs and yelling at night. When I woke, the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke even though the top floor was non-smoking. Positives: given cold bottles of water and clean bedsheets. Information: there are no elevators; if you are on the second floor make a couple trips if you have a lot of stuff to bring in.
