House Rules & Checkout Instructions This property is non-smoking. Pet friendly/Dogs only, maximum of 2 dogs. Pet fee required for each pet. So emergency vehicles can access the surrounding roads and properties, please do not block any driveways, roads or intersections. Please do not exceed the number of vehicles driven per the number of bedrooms. Check in time is 3 pm or anytime after, please call our office to see if any early check in is available the day before or the day of your arrival. Check out time is 12 noon promptly. Our housekeeping staff travels a great distance, please depart no later than 12 noon. Please bring your own personal hygiene products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc). Please bring any spices and cooking preparation items (oil, foil, wax paper, etc). \* If the property has internet service, the internet logon information is located on the refrigerator We have a rental agreement that we email to you to electronically sign. While we want our guests to enjoy their visit, please be respectful of the neighbors by refraining from playing loud music or any unacceptable behavior. Guests must be twenty five years of age or older to rent this property. CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS: If traveling with a pet at a pet friendly property, please remove pet residue from the yard and pet hair from the cabin. Check out time is 12:00 noon promptly. Please do not leave any perishable food in the refrigerator or freezer, condiments are acceptable to leave. Please bag all trash in a standard trash bag and ensure all recyclables are bagged. Garbage service will not remove any non bagged trash. Place your garbage in the trash box at the driveway entrance (for Woods Resort Properties only, please take your garbage to the community dumpster just past the outdoor pool). Please call office for trash pick up if garbage is overflowing. Please wash all your dishes or start the dishwasher. If there is a wood burning stove or fireplace, ensure the fire is burnt all the way down and close the door or fireplace screen. DO NOT PUT WATER INSIDE FIREPLACE OR WOODSTOVE, WATER WILL CRACK THE DEVICE. Leave all ashes in the fireplace or wood stove. Campfire ring burning - if property has a campfire ring, please make sure campfire is burnt all the way down and wet down with water before departing. Please turn off all lights before departing. Ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked. During summer months, please set air conditioning to 75 degrees. During winter months, please set heat to 55 degrees. Please return key to lock box and roll the lock box numbers on all zeros (0-0-0-0). Ensure you leave the key in the lock box for housekeeping to access the property. Please leave the cabin in an orderly and reasonable condition, our housekeeping staff works very hard to make the properties sparkle. This is our second time staying at The Outlook this year. As before we were greeted by deer on the property. They didn't seem bothered by us at all. The cabin was sparkling clean and linens and towels were made up and ready. The view across the valley was wonderful with the trees changing into their fall colors. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils we would need to make dinner. We stayed for two full days and didn't run out of things to do. We hiked in Cacapon State Park and drove up to the top of the mountain. It was an incredible view. We visited Berkley Springs and the Brewery and shopped in town. The cabin is in a great location. It's private yet only a few minutes from Valley road (the main thoroughfare into town.) Smores over the campfire capped off our last night. It was a great family trip. ##### William W. We visited the Cacapon State Park, hiked the trails of the Paw Paw tunnel of the C & O Canal and visited restaurants and other points of interest in the Berkley Springs and Cacapon area. We didn't have enough time to see everything we wanted to so we booked another trip there next fall. The cabin was everything we expected and there were deer on the property when we arrived. The cabin was well stocked with amenities (including towels) wifi, satellite, tv's in every room, including the game room. There were also board games, movies on dvd, plenty of chairs, including a gliding patio bench on the deck. The view was great. The management was very accommodating to our needs. The place has great entertainment options for families in the home, theres a great open area with a fire ring, there's a great view from the deck, and -- though it's tucked away in the mountains -- it is still close enough to places to get food and supplies, not to mention the actual springs of Berkeley Springs. The management company was also phenominal. The check in/out process is easy, the place was clean, and they never bothered us. However, when we realized we needed their help after our stay, their team was so pleasant to work with and accomodating. A great diamond in the rough! ##### Gavin M. We enjoyed the fireplace and loved that the firewood was provided for us. The loft was big and spacious and the basement was a nice get away for games, etc. As a family who brought all of our food in for every meal for the week, we thought the plates/dishes and cups were not adequate for a family of 6\. Also, the seating area in the kitchen, living room and basement did not have adequate seating for all 6 of us. It is also important for a cabin like this to have a CO detector and not just a smoke detector. Overall, this was a great place and we would definitely stay here again. ##### Sue E. Lighting in both bedrooms on main floor poor. Lamps poor. It was difficult to get the cabin cool but that is probably the way it was built rather than an equipment problem.
